Another Golden Age Legend Passes: Farewell Jerry Robinson

Jerry Robinson (1922 - 2011) was an American comic book artist known for his work on DC Comics' Batman line of comics during the 1940s. Best known as the creator of the Joker, he was a champion of creator rights. He was also instrumental in developing the characters of Robin and Alfred the Butler. Robinson died December 7, 2011 in New York City at the age of 89.
