Farewell to Jim Kelly (1946-2013), who passed away on Saturday of cancer. Kelly starred in numerous martial arts films in the 1970s, including
Black Belt Jones,
Three the Hard Way, and
Black Samurai . However, he was best known for his role in Bruce Lee's film
Enter the Dragon. We met last year at both the Hollywood Show convention in Burbank and Comic-Con International in San Diego, and it was an honor and a pleasure to talk with him. We have two Collector's Treasures to showcase today. First is a stunning shot of Kelly from 1974's
Three the Hard Way and second is a classic photo from 1973's
Enter the Dragon signed by Kelly and his co-star John Saxon - both from the Hollywood Show last October.
