TV Land Legend Sherwood Schwartz Dies: Created Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch

Sherwood Schwartz died peacefully in his sleep today of natural causes, surrounded by his family. He was 94 years old. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred Schwartz and their four children: Donald, Lloyd, Ross, and Hope. He worked on radio shows in the 1940s, and created the television series Gilligan's Island (1964 - 1967) on CBS and The Brady Bunch (1969 - 1974) on ABC.
