Monkees star Davy Jones Dies at age 66
I was shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Davy Jones of the Monkees. I was just chatting with him a couple of weeks ago at the Hollywood Show in Burbank, and he was just as vibrant as ever. He suffered a heart attack this morning in Florida. Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters.

Ernie Kovacs Audio Trove Acquired
Omnivore Recordings has announced it will release all audio material from the archive of the estates of legendary comedian Ernie Kovacs and Tony-Award winning singer/entertainer Edie Adams. The first album to be released is titled Percy Dovetonsils Thpeaks, a previously unreleased comedy album featuring Kovacs’ best-known and beloved character originally recorded in 1961.
Music featured prominently in Kovacs' show, and Collector's Shangri-La still has available a few limited edition sets that include records from the personal collection of Ernie Kovacs!
