Farewell to actor James Best (1926-2015), remembered for his role as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane from from the classic 1980s TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. Best died of complications from pneumonia last night at the age of 88. Happy 87th birthday today to actor James Best, known for his role as bumbling Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane in the CBS television series The Dukes of Hazzard (1979-1985). Our Collector's Treasure of the day is a hand-signed DVD set of the animated series based on the live action show. Hanna-Barbera Studios produced the cartoon in 1983 using the same actors.  Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke take their high-wheelin, country cruisin around the world in a race against Boss Hogg for the family farm.
