Farewell to actress and ballet dancer Yvonne Craig (1937 - 2015) who passed away yesterday at her home in Pacific Palisades, CA. Best known for her role as Batgirl from the 1960s Batman TV series, Craig also played the Orion slave girl Marta in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode “Whom Gods Destroy”. I met Ms. Craig several times and she was a sweet woman. As she was likely for thousands, she was be my first television crush.
