Canadian actor Jonathan Frid, best known as Barnabas Collins in the 1960s vampire soap opera "Dark Shadows," has died of natural causes April 13th at the age of 87. His death comes just weeks before the release of Tim Burton's film "Dark Shadows," starring Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins. Original "Dark Shadows" stars Jonathan Frid, Kathryn Leigh Scott, Lara Parker, and David Selby all have cameos in the film.
