Happy birthday to animator Sally Cruikshank whose work includes short films for Sesame Street, and whose short Quasi at the Quackadero (1975) was inducted into the United States National Film Registry. Our Collector's Treasure of the Day is this production cel set-up including hand-painted background for her colorful, surrealistic film Face Like a Frog (1987). Gouache on 4 untrimmed animation cel sheets, 10.5 x 12.5 with an image size of approximately 9 x 12 inches. The film features music by Danny Elfman performed by Oingo Boingo (credited as The Mystic Knights). Hand-Signed by Sally Cruikshank. In Excellent condition.
