Today marks the birthday of actress and comedienne Lucille Ball (1911 - 1989), best known as the star of her television series I Love Lucy.  Our Collector's Treasure of the Day is this vintage glossy 8 x 10 inch RKO Radio Pictures publicity photo by Ernest A. Bachrach, hand-signed and warmly inscribed by Lucille Ball. Reverse bears an advertising advisory stamp dated 1938. A scarce opportunity to acquire such an early example.
